Watch out world (and mama)!

Although Olivia has been crawling really well for a couple of weeks and pulling herself up to stand, this past week she has really taken to standing! Watch out world.... here comes Olivia. Am I ready? No way! :)

Happy 9th month Birthday Olivia!

On Monday, June 8th, Olivia Milli Moore turned 9 months. For Kevin and myself, this marked a milestone in our lives as Olivia has now officially spent just as much time out in the world as she did in the womb. For this reason, we decided to celebrate her b-day and create a little family ritual of our own. So in honor of Olivia, we all went to the Merry-Go-Round at Chase Palm Park on Kevin's lunch break! Olivia loved it!

Last week it was time to pick our kale from our garden that was ready to eat. After harvesting the kale, I let Olivia play with it and explore it's texture. She had fun experimenting with the vegetable, but when it came to tasting raw kale, some was ok, and other stalks, not.... Oh... and as you can see... Astro was chillin' too!

One of Olivia's "fav" toys right now is a set of blocks that Grandma Carol gave her. What she loves most about the blocks is that her mother will stack them high like a tower so that she can knock them all down.

Now that Olivia knows how to crawl and pick herself up to stand... play time is "oh so exciting!" She really does need to be "worn down" to go to bed! Gotta love her energy!

In mid - May we went to visit Grandma Carol and Papa! And... look what Grandma Carol found for Olivia... a pink polka dot chair (with her name embroidered on it too)! As you can see, the moment we sat Olivia in her chair she raised her back and created an expression of pure delight on her face as if to say "look at me in my cool new seat!"

Four generations of the Moore family :)

With Grandma Great visiting us in Santa Barbara, we took pride in the fact that during her visit, we had FOUR generations of Moore Family members all together! L-R: Grandfather Bill Moore, Great Grandma Esther (aka Grandma Great), Aunt Christy, Da da Kevin and Olivia :)

In the beginning of May, Olivia got to meet Grandma Great and Great Aunt Connie. We feel so blessed as they ventured all the way from Butte, Montana to Santa Barbara, California to meet our superstar Olivia.
