Oh, how sweet this is! I can't tell you how much I love it when Olivia falls asleep on me. She is such a little bundle of love. Pure, sweet love!

10 months and walking ???

Well, not quite by herself, but last Friday, Olivia was visiting the Cooks and discovered what it is like to use a walker! Oh no!

Two weeks ago I took some pics from our yoga class that Olivia and myself teach at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center. All of the pics include our friends who are part of the mamatoto (attachment parenting) group that we are a part of. Enjoy!

Yellow Bird Music Class

One of Olivia's favorite activities (apart from swimming in her grandparents pool and going to the park for a swing ride) is music. To be more specific, it is the music class at Yellow Bird Music led by her favorite instructor, Alex!

Each week we explore different musical instruments, sing songs, read stories and play with either different musical instruments, balls, scooters, etc. All of this is coordinated with a lesson of the week which also corresponds to the theme of the session that we are enrolled in.

Brody's B-day Bash!

Olivia had a blast at Brody's B-day party! Although not pictured was an amazing guitarist that Olivia simply loved, we thought we would highlight the fact that apart from listening to the guitarist and seeing all of her friends, she essentially hung out in this cool pool the entire party.

4th of July

For the 4th we helped Sage Holcombe celebrate her 1st birthday. As you can see from the picture below, Olivia felt we had a lot of cheering to do!

Grandma Carol and Olivia visit Butterflies Alive

A couple of weeks ago Grandma "C" was visiting and took Olivia to the Butterflies Alive exhibit at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. The exhibit of landscaped flowers and butterflies was really cool.

This past Sunday, July 5th, we attended Cash Roy's 1st birthday party. The party was AMAZING. Kiddie pool, separate pool with balls and then finger painting! So, we let Olivia explore and here is what our little artist came up with :) Ok... from her face, she is not the most thrilled about it. But we are!
