33 weeks and counting....

Ok... we are really late posting this as tomorrow we turn 34 weeks.... I guess I have been too busy nesting and slacking on this blog thing! So here is the scoop. On Wednesday, July 23rd we turned 33 weeks! That means that she could weigh as much as 4pounds or a little more than that. For a weight comparison think about carrying a pinapple (www.babycenter.com).

As I stated in the opening... I have been busy nesting and preparing the nursery and our home for Olive (and driving Kevin crazy :)) since we really have less than 7 weeks left (give or take a week or so) before Olive arrives.

Our big news this past week was that our OBGYN, Dr. Echt, approved our birth plan. So both Kevin and myself feel much more confident knowing that we have a plan in place that is approved by our doc, (but yes, we are aware that things don't always go as planned.... ) and are prepared with options that we feel are best for us and little Olive when "D" day comes.

Well, in a nut shell, all is well, life is good and we are blessed! Til next blog......

With loving gratitude, Emma (and Kevin, Olive and Astro)
